The express acceptance of the corresponding Policies, Terms and Conditions shall authorise EROSKI S. COOP. (hereinafter EROSKI) to process the personal data of the User.
In order to use the services offered by this medium, the user must register using the registration form(s) provided for this purpose and must freely, voluntarily and expressly give their consent to the processing of their data.
This Privacy Policy is applicable to all information that may be collected, stored and processed by EROSKI on providing the service and during browsing and use of this media.
EROSKI will process and store all the data supplied and managed by the users in their profile.
EROSKI may establish mechanisms to facilitate the process of registration via different channels; specifically, for purposes of registration, EROSKI may develop a process enabling use of the Users’ data that is already included in other EROSKI databases and which may be useful for the registration process; in this case, the Owner of the data processed shall be informed, in order to obtain their consent.
EROSKI shall be the holder of a database containing the following personal data, and the Users expressly consent to the inclusion of this data in the database, for the purposes stipulated: (i) any data that the Users may supply, or whose inclusion they may authorise, on registering, (ii) data deriving from the business relationship with EROSKI (i.e. use of the different Services), (iii) data resulting from any IT processes in which EROSKI and the Users participate (cookies, browsing habits or use of the media), (iv) geolocation data and/or geoposition, previously authorised, and (v) any data that EROSKI may deduce from legitimately obtained data, including georeferencing data.
All this data shall be processed, in general, with the purpose of managing and providing the services offered by this media, its maintenance and improvement and sending, electronically or otherwise, information and/or publicity, offers of products and services (its own or those of third parties) in which the Users might be interested, in connection with the following sectors in which EROSKI or the Eroski Group companies carry out their business (loyalty programmes, food, home, textile, insurance, loans, opticians, real estate, telecommunications, technology, IT, consumption, sport, leisure, recreation, tourism, beauty, perfumery, payment systems and jewellery) in accordance with the EROSKI criteria and/or their User profile, and offering them the chance to participate in different promotions, add to their Eroski CLUB balance or earn TRAVEL CLUB points.
In all cases, on registering the Users accept that EROSKI will process their data for business purposes, for advertising and commercial research via electronic means of communication. EROSKI may carry out processes for performing e-mail marketing and direct marketing; developing profiles, segmentation concerning the data and/or cross-relating with other files for which EROSKI is responsible, within the limits and guarantees established by law.
Users can opt out of having their data processed for promotional purposes and receiving this type of messages at any time by clicking on "My Data" to access their record file. There, they can modify the selected criteria, contacting us at info@eroski.es. They can also opt out by following the instructions that appear on each of the communications they receive.
Users can exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO rights) at any time by writing to EROSKI, S.COOP. at: (i) their headquarters at Barrio de San Agustín, s/n, 48230-Elorrio, Bizkaia, Attn. Legal Department (ii) through the website info@eroski.es or (iii) through the User's area on our website in the "My Data" section.
The users’ personal data is stored in a database belonging to EROSKI which ensures the relevant technical and organisational measures are taken to guarantee the integrity, confidentiality and security of the personal data supplied according to the current state of the art. EROSKI maintains the data protection security levels as stipulated in Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, approving the Implementing Regulation of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, concerning personal data protection, and has implemented all the technical measures within its power to prevent loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access or theft of the data supplied by the user, while informing users that Internet security measures are not impregnable.
Minors may not register with EROSKI. An authentication mechanism has been established to prevent registration by (a) any persons who do not enter valid characters for their date of birth, which must always correspond to legal age, and (b) any persons who do not expressly accept that they are of legal age.
